The decree signed by Trump states that The Visa Interview Waiver Program — should be interrupted, and all applicants for a non-immigrant visa must now have a personal interview.
“The Secretary of State should immediately terminate The Visa Interview Waiver Program and ensure that the visa process complies with Section 222 of the Immigration and Nationality Act, which requires each nonimmigrant visa applicant to undergo an in-person interview, with specified exceptions,” says paragraph 8 of the document posted on the website.
