ISIS threatens terrorist attacks at the World Cup in Russia

The terrorist organization "Islamic State" (ISIS) is threatening to carry out a series of terrorist attacks in Russia during the FIFA World Cup, which will be held in the summer of 2018.

Some photos posted on social media show terrorists using drones to transport bombs and drop them on players and fans. In addition, the group intends to send suicide bombers to stadiums who will use a new piece of modern technology - a flying hoverboard, which, according to ISIS forecasts, will allow them to fly over walls.

According to sources in the security forces, terrorists can also equip drones with chemical or bacterial substances.

The security officials believe that these threats should be taken seriously, because ISIS has previously demonstrated video using drones for attacks.

Russian intelligence services have said they are preparing to thwart terrorist attacks they believe ISIS and al-Qaeda are planning to carry out. In particular, according to the FSB, in 2017 the Russian side did not allow terrorist attacks during the Confederations Cup football tournament. The list of anti-terrorism measures approved by the Russian leadership includes restrictions on the sale of weapons, explosives and poisons near match venues, a ban on flying drones near stadiums and registration of fans.

The measures began to be introduced after ISIS published a poster with weeping blood of famous Argentine footballer Lionel Messi.
