“This ceremony is special. We are not transferring power from one administration to another, but it is from politicians to you - the people of America,” Trump said, adding that his inauguration is a moment for all Americans, which first and foremost belongs to them.

“January 20, 2017 will be the day when power passed to the people,” the 45th President of the United States emphasized.

He focused on the problems of poverty, the high cost of education and the American army, which, in his opinion, needs reform and more focus on the interests of the United States, rather than protecting other countries of the world.

Trump promised that from now on America will “be first in everything” and noted that this requires “protecting American borders from refugees from other countries” in order to provide jobs for Americans.

Trump emphasized the need to unite the nation: “When America is united, it is unstoppable—no matter the color of our skin, black, brown or white, we have red blood running through our veins.”

He promised that the time for “talk is over and the time for action has come,” so he will not allow politicians who “only know how to complain and do nothing,” and emphasized that no American “will be ignored anymore.”

He concluded by saying that together, the people of the United States will “make America great again.”
