Hyperloop set a new speed record

The test capsule of the supersonic train Hyperloop was dispersed to a record speed of 355 km / h. The previous record was set by the WARR team from the Munich University of Technology during the Hyperloop Pod Competition. Students were able to disperse the capsule to 324 km / h.

The American billionaire and the general director of SpaceX, Ilon Musk, believes that in a short time the train will be able to cover distances above 500 km / h. The idea of ​​creating a hovercraft Hyperloop in 2013 was put forward by Ilon Musk.

It is believed that the composition, which will run in a special vacuum tube under the ground, will be able to develop a design speed in excess of 1 200 km / h. The train will connect the American megacities together and allow US citizens to get, for example, from Washington to New York in half an hour. Musk plans to spread his know-how in other large countries, Europe, Russia and even in Australia.

In the United States, a pipe project between New York and Washington has been pre-approved. But he has yet to go through a series of complex examinations and approvals.
