Jill Biden released an official Christmas video: social media users did not appreciate it

US First Lady Jill Biden has come under fire after she posted a video on the X website showing ballet dancers dancing in the White House decorated for Christmas. The theme of this year's celebration is “Magic, Wonder and Joy.” Writes about this Fox News.

The First Lady shared a video from her official account @FLOTUS with the comment: “Talented dancers from Dorrance Dance give you a little bit of magic, wonder and joy as they perform their playful interpretation of the suite from the ballet “The Nutcracker.” Enjoy."

But observers on social media didn't seem to like the musical accompaniment.

“The United States of Bananas,” one viewer wrote, playing on the phrase go bananas, which means “to go crazy.”

“Guess they at the White House actually think this brings the Christmas spirit,” another commented.

“You are so strange. Quirky,” added a third.

One commenter even shared a video of former First Lady Melania Trump while Donald Trump was in office and remarked that it was tasteful and seasonal, enjoyed by everyone and was absolutely captivating and gorgeous, whereas Jill's video, he said, " absolutely tasteless and anti-Christmas."

“Looks like they've switched from cocaine to acid in Washington,” another user wrote, in an apparent reference to the discovery of cocaine in the executive mansion earlier this year.

The first lady's video is filled with smiling dancers in colorful costumes doing all sorts of tap-dancing steps throughout the White House. But many viewers called the video nothing even remotely reminiscent of a Christmas theme.

“I wonder how much it cost the taxpayers?” — the next user wondered.

There were also those among the commentators who perceived this as some kind of joke, since the video was embarrassing and not suitable for children.

Many were interested in the cost of the video and how much it cost taxpayers.
