Airlines announce new rules for the transport of liquids on international flights.

Passengers will be able to quickly pass security points at the airport if they launch a new scanning technology.

Innovative technology for the detection of explosives can mean that passengers no longer have to worry about the liquid and laptops in their carry-on baggage.

3D scanners are already being used to monitor what's inside luggage. They were used at three airports - London, New York and Amsterdam.

12-month trials are held at London Heathrow Airport, in New York (JFK) and Amsterdam (Schipol), as well as in Boston and Baltimore, USA. The equipment is similar to the hospital, and, as experts believe, costs about $ 260 000

A spokesman for Heathrow told MailOnline: “We continue to explore new technologies that can increase passenger comfort and strengthen our security.”

Australia will also benefit from tests under the security alliance with New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States called Five Eyes. The agreement provides for cooperation in the field of electronic surveillance and response to high-level security threats.

Australian Justice Minister Angus Taylor told Parliament that he could not tell what was being introduced at airports for security reasons. But he assured that Australia will always work with partners to anticipate emerging threats.

“The security environment is constantly evolving and as a matter of good practice we are considering what items can and cannot be brought on board,” a spokesman for the minister said.

A global ban on the transport of liquids over 100 ml in hand luggage was introduced in 2006 after the terrorist plot to bring down 10 transatlantic flights using explosives hidden in Lucozade and Oasis bottles of 500 ml.
