Sandra Bullock donated 100 000 dollars to help save the animals from the deadly forest fires burning California.
The Ventura County Humane Society announced on Sunday that the Bullock family made generous donations after animal rescue efforts during the Hill and Woolsy fires caught their attention.
“The Ventura County Humane Society was deeply touched today [Sunday] with a donation of 100 000 dollars from Sandra Bullock and her team. Our efforts to rescue and care for the evacuees from the Hill and Woolsy fires caught her attention, and her team went to an orphanage to show their support. ” it says in the post в Facebook.
The donation of Ocean's 8 actress will help to evacuate rescued animals, including horses, donkeys, pigs, chickens, ducks, dogs and cats, from the rising flame that burns southern California.
Strong fires in California destroyed more than 7000 homes and buildings, forcing thousands of people to evacuate.
Forest fires also destroyed several celebrity homes, including Miley Cyrus, Robin Tick, and Neil Young. Kim Kardashian and Lady Gaga are also among the stars who were forced to evacuate.
