Yanukovych stressed several times that he is a supporter of the territorial integrity of Ukraine. Journalists asked how the ex-president relates to the idea of ​​separating Donbass.

“I was initially against the violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine. And the separation of Donbass is more of an emotional impulse of people who reacted to the unrest that took place in Kyiv, when radicals began to shed blood and there were many such reasons. I am for Donbass to be part of Ukraine and the territorial integrity of Ukraine to be preserved,” said Viktor Yanukovych.

It should be noted that he spoke in the same vein about the separation of Crimea. “I think this is bad,” Yanukovych said.

A Ukrainian journalist asked how much money the president took with him when he fled Ukraine. “To date, not a single cent has been found in any bank in the world. I didn't have any bills.
