Volkswagen has released a unique office chair that can ride. It has headlights, a horn and a media system. The edition told in more detail DEV.

The company says that they tried to transfer as much of the car's features as possible to these seats.

Thanks to the built-in electric motor, the chair can travel at speeds up to 20 km / h, and the power reserve is up to 12 km. In addition, it is equipped with a media system so that you do not get bored while driving to the next department.

The seat has a built-in rear view camera and 360-degree proximity sensors for easy parking.

In addition, headlights are built into the armrests in case of moving around the office during the night shift and a horn to honk in the resulting traffic jam near the coffee machine or toilet.

There are also useful functions for work - heated seats and trunk for documents. And if you need to transport a huge load, the chair has a car hitch - a tow bar.

Cast aluminum wheel rims. The company reports that in some salons it is already possible to test drive this vehicle.

It is not known for sure whether such a chair will ever be released as a commercial product or whether it will remain a good publicity stunt to promote Volkswagen cars.

The design of the chair is very reminiscent of a similar design-chair from the cartoon “WALL-E”. There people became so lazy that they no longer wanted to walk and flew in special chairs. Although this chair does not fly yet, it may be the first step towards such a future.
