In Florida, a son deliberately ran over his father with an SUV several times: he died
On the evening of November 11, a 61-year-old man ran over his 86-year-old father twice with a pickup truck outside a bar in Florida. An elderly man died in hospital, reports New York Post.
Just after 20:30 p.m. on November 11, police received a report that a black 2019 Dodge Ram reversed into a parking lot had run over a person near the R Bar in Treasure Island.
Investigators say 86-year-old Thomas McKeown approached a pickup truck and appeared to fall in front of it.

Investigators say the pickup truck began to move and struck McCown, dragging him along with it. Then, several times, the car, moving back and forth, ran over the 86-year-old man. The pickup truck then fled the scene.
Thomas McKeown was taken to a local hospital. He died from his injuries.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the driver of the pickup truck was Thomas McKeown's son, 61-year-old Mark McKeown. He was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death. He was released Nov. 12 after posting $50 bail.

Authorities say the driver may have been intoxicated at the time of the crash and that the investigation is ongoing.
