In Florida, sturgeon killed a five-year-old girl
A family boat trip for an American family from the state of Florida ended in a terrible tragedy. Mom and her children rode along the Swanni River. Suddenly a giant sturgeon jumped out of the water directly into the boat.
Five-year-old Jaelene Rippi died of a strong blow from the fish on the spot. Her 31-year-old mom Tanya Fey and her nine-year-old brother Taylor also suffered serious injuries. The injured were sent to the clinic by helicopter, they need urgent surgery.
The Florida Fisheries and Wildlife Conservation Commission has already commented on what happened. They reported that this is the first death case. Such incidents occur periodically, but previously everything ended with serious injuries.
Ichthyological scientists claim that sturgeon fish always behave like this in a shallow river. When they find deep areas, they jump out of the water to show the others that they have found the depth.
