A World War II veteran received a college degree later 60 years after training
A few decades after attending the last lecture, 96-year-old World War II veteran Bob Barger received a diploma from the University of Toledo in Ohio.

The military pilot of the Second World War took a diploma in mantle and bononete and beamed with happiness, reports Fox News.
Man got diploma after more than 60 years after he was last in class. When his university documents were recently raised again from the end of 1940, it turned out that he had enough credits to get a degree from two years of study, which did not exist at the time when he attended the university, therefore, he hadn’t assigned it to him before.
After Barger found out about this opportunity, he was very happy and admitted that "this is something he never even dreamed of."
“I will be proud to hang this diploma on my wall and think about the friends I have made from receiving it,” Barger said.
After the end of World War II, the man returned to Toledo and went to college. But work and family did not give him the opportunity to complete his studies.
The decision to raise his notes came after Barger met Haraz Gunbari, director of military and veteran affairs at the university.
Soon, Gunbari found out that the veteran had never received a diploma, despite being fully loaded during his training from 1947 to 1950, and decided to check whether Barger has any grounds for obtaining a diploma.
