'Greatest President since Abraham Lincoln': Oscar winner glorifies Trump
Actor John Voight posted a two-hour video on Twitter, calling President Donald Trump "the greatest president since Abraham Lincoln."
Voight began his video with the words: “Our president feels our great respect and love. This job is not easy, because he fights with the left and their ridiculous statements. ”
80, the Oscar winner of the year, who starred in films such as Anaconda, Liberation and Midnight Cowboy, further praised the president even more.
“Today I am here to admit the truth. “I’m here today to tell you, my fellow citizens, that our country is stronger, safer and with more jobs because our president did every step right,” Voight continued.

Voight concluded by saying, “So let us stand with our president, acknowledge this truth, that President Trump is the greatest president since Abraham Lincoln. God bless America!"
Voith was an outspoken conservative, supporting John McCain in 2008 and Mitt Romney in 2012. In the 2008 article of the year, published in The Washington Times, Voight argued that "Democrats target young people."
“Democrats target young people, knowing how easy it is to put forward something that can program their minds,” Voight wrote then. “I fell into hysteria during the Vietnam era, which was caused by the Marxist propaganda underlying the so-called peace movement.”
The actor was also a staunch supporter of Trump in the 2016 year, when he said: “Trump will be a great president.”
Appointed by Trump in March 2019, Voit is on the board of trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
