Inspired by ISIS, a man tried to blow up a shopping center in Miami
In Miami, FBI officers arrested a man who fell under the influence of the terrorist organization ISIS and tried to detonate a bomb in a mall. Dolphin mall, writes Miami Herald.
The man was arrested as a result of the FBI’s collaboration with undercover agents. Vicente Solano acted alone and coordinated his actions with the FBI clandestine informant. The undercover agent handed Solano a fake bomb, which he tried to blow up at the mall.
Employees of the FBI reported that the man also prepared a video showing Islamists. However, there is no information about Solano’s connection with ISIS terrorists.
In recent years, Miami has been arrested: Harlem Suárez from Key West, who was planning to detonate a bomb on a public beach, James Medina, who tried to blow up a synagogue in Aventura. Oby were sentenced to 25 years in prison.
