In South Carolina, a dog saved its owner’s life during a fire
A South Carolina man says a house fire would have cost him his life if it had not been for his faithful four-legged friend, who saved his master when the house was in flames.
Media reports that a dog named Curley saved the Vietnam War veteran Brian Rand on Monday morning, October 7, waking him during a fire in the house, writes ABC News.
Rand says that Curley pushed the owner until he woke up. According to the man, he went out into the corridor, saw thick smoke, immediately grabbed the dog and ran into the street.
Half of Rand’s house was destroyed by fire, but firefighters were able to save Rand’s medals from the military during the Vietnam War.

The man is sure that the roof would fall on him and kill him if the faithful dog Curly did not wake him in time.
Rand says three years ago he went to an animal shelter looking for a small dog. But instead of a miniature dog, he left with a 70-pound (32-kilogram) Curly—the dog chose him.
