In Vermont, the mysterious Santa paid for Walmart customer purchases

They do not know his name. They know nothing about him, except that he is a fan of the Patriots.

But the residents of Derby, Vermont, are grateful to the mysterious Santa, who on November 15 came to Walmart and paid for almost all goods set aside for customers.

The customer Julie Gates managed to photograph the mysterious man who paid for her purchases that day. His face is not visible, unfortunately.

Gates said that at first she did not believe that someone had just paid for her purchases.

When she took the cart, the man asked her if she planned to buy something. She answered in the affirmative, and the man told her that he would wait until she finished and pay for everything.

“I smiled and thought this guy must be crazy,” she said. Gates then walked around the store, buying holiday gifts as she had planned.

Of course, the man was still waiting for her near the box office. When she wanted to pay for purchases with $ 199, he used his card to pay.

“I asked who could afford it, and he said Santa could,” Gates said.

Gates added that she would not pay attention to this man because he looked like an “ordinary average guy.”

A store employee confirmed the bounty of an anonymous buyer, although Walmart officials refused to say how many people he helped and how much he spent.

After the woman told about it on Facebook, people started writing to her that a stranger had also paid their bills.

One couple said that on Walmart that day, a man paid for their purchases for $ 800.

It was like a Christmas movie moment, Gates said.

“He is an amazing person and we need more people like him,” she added.

Last year, this happened in Pennsylvania. Unknown paid A total of $ 40 thousand and so made a holiday gift 200 families.

And in New Jersey the mysterious Santa bought children toys for $ 10 thousands.
