In Turkey, the plane rolled out of the runway and hovered on the cliff

Aircraft Airlines Pegasus Airlines, carrying 168 passengers and crew members, slid off the runway at the Turkish Trabzon airport and nearly crashed into the Black Sea, causing panic among the passengers.

As a result of the incident, no one was hurt, the passengers of the ship were evacuated, reports with the BBC.

Officials find out the cause of the incident.

The photographs show that the plane lies nose down on the cliff side a few meters from the water. This position of the ship caused panic among the passengers, which the crew could not cope with.

“We leaned over. The front part was down and the rear part of the plane was up. There was panic, people were screaming,” said one of the passengers.

“We were told to evacuate through the back exit, and people were pushing each other around, trying to get out early. It was terrible,” she said.

According to her, at some point in the cabin the smell of kerosene and the people were afraid that the liner could explode.

She added that among the passengers were children and pregnant women.

In the network appeared video from the cabin at the time of the incident, which shows that the panic was really very serious.

After the incident, the airport was closed for several hours to investigate.

Pegasus Airlines limited itself to only a short statement that the plane “had an incident on the runway” when it landed in Trabzon.
