In Texas, a child died taking a cell phone in the bath
14-year-old girl from Texas Madison Coe died due to electric shock during use in the bathroom connected to the charging of a mobile phone.
According to her grandmother, the tragedy occurred when she either took the phone connected to the charge with wet hands, or tried to put the device on charge, writes New York Daily News.
“There was a burn mark on her hand, on the hand with which she was holding the phone,” said the grandmother of the deceased.
The incident occurred in Lovington, New Mexico, where Madison was visiting her father.
The girl recently graduated from the eighth grade in high school. Terra vista in Texas, where she played basketball and tuba.
Friends created a page GoFundMeto raise money for her funeral.
Grandmother admitted that she told about this story in order to protect other families from this tragedy and to warn children against using the phone in the bath.
