In Texas, marijuana lovers meet a tiger in an abandoned house
Police are investigating after a tiger was discovered in an abandoned house in Houston.
According to the police, two people decided to smoke marijuana in an abandoned house. When they saw a wildcat, they called 311, where their call was transferred to BARC Animal Shelter, which received a search warrant at home.
The shelter workers gave the tiger the nickname Tyson in honor of the character in the movie “The Hangover.” Tyson was in good shape, but he was kept in an unsuitable room.
“He is in a cage that can easily open. The cage was secured with a nylon strap and a screwdriver at the top. Anything could have happened,” said Sergeant Jason Alderit of the Animal Cruelty Unit.
An animal shelter in Texas will bring Tyson to his new home on Tuesday.
Conducted due to who owns the tiger.
In Texas, you can legally own a tiger, provided that the owner has permission to keep it. However, in Houston it is forbidden to keep a tiger in the house, so if they find the owner Tyson, he will face a huge fine.
“He’s big and scary,” said neighbor Pablo Bruagas. “There are also a lot of children on the street.” My kids… the neighbor has kids, so it’s scary.”
