In Thailand, a model from Ukraine was brutally murdered: her boyfriend is suspected

In the capital of Thailand, in one of the luxury hotels, the dismembered body of a 24-year-old Ukrainian model was found. Law enforcement officers suspect a British businessman originally from Poland in a terrible crime. The edition told in more detail 24TV.

The main suspect in the murder of 24-year-old Ukrainian Alena Savchenko is a British businessman from Poland Jan Jerzy Lagoda-Filippov. The police have already caught him.

April 29 Alena and Jan Jerzy settled in a hotel in Thailand. The Pole has an advertising business registered in London, and the Ukrainian woman did a photo shoot for him.

CCTV footage shows that the couple went to the room joking and laughing on the way there, but the girl has not been seen since that day.

On May 15, Jan Jerzy hurriedly left the room, which aroused suspicion among the staff. Hotel workers found a bloodied and partially dismembered body of a Ukrainian woman in the room. A saw was found on the side of the body.

According to law enforcement officers, the girl was killed at least 2 days before her body was discovered.

“The victim’s face was bloodied, and her head was partially cut off by a deep cut from the neck to the left shoulder. The victim's left arm was also cut off, and paramedics found a stab wound on his chest. Next to the body, police found a bloody saw purchased from a nearby store,” the police report said.

The suspect in the murder called a taxi and tried to leave for the casino, but then he decided to use Google translator to ask the taxi driver to help him dismember the body of the girl killed in the hotel and hide it. For this, he offered the taxi driver 1500 baht ($44).

The taxi driver dropped off a strange passenger and reported him to the hotel administration.

A businessman was detained near the border with Cambodia. The murder investigation continues. The man does not admit or deny his guilt, the motives of the crime are unknown.

What is known about the victim

24-year-old Ukrainian Alena Savchenko is from Zaporozhye. Judging by her Linkedin account, the girl graduated from Zaporozhye National University with a bachelor's degree, studied English language and literature from 2016 to 2022, writes Columnist.

During her studies, she worked as a tutor, taught languages, led language clubs in Istanbul. After that, she went to China, where she took part in cultural exchange events - fairs, classes, games. Then I studied business, marketing and international trends in China for several months in courses.

In addition, she worked in Estonia for about a year, was engaged in marketing, SMM, prepared articles for websites and social networks.

One of her friends said that she last saw Alena several years ago:

“Alena was a kind and friendly girl. Yes, she had long dreamed of becoming a model, she wanted to sing. She was good at languages. When she studied at the university, she went to China to earn money and teach English. Some of our girls also went there, white-skinned Europeans are valued there. After high school, we did not communicate with her. What happened to her is terrible, I can’t even believe it.”

Alena said that she lives in Warsaw. Probably, there she met her future killer.
