Imagine Dragons filmed a video for a new song in a bombed-out village in Ukraine
On May 9, the American band Imagine Dragons presented a video filmed for the song Crushed. It was created using footage filmed in Ukraine during a full-scale invasion, reports ZN.

The clip shows 14-year-old Sasha, whose village was under Russian occupation for five months and now has “nothing left in it.” Sasha managed to survive the bombing because he hid in a shelter, but his neighbors did not survive.
In the video, you can see houses destroyed by bombing and shelling, where people once lived, a school where children studied. Now they are the burnt skeletons of a past life. They still remember people who will never return.

The group members noted that the story of Sasha and his family is one of thousands. They have lost everything, but remain in their village and hope to rebuild their home.
The group has come out in support of Ukraine since the early days of Russia's full-scale invasion. Soloist Dan Reynolds during the European tour, held in 2022, went on stage with the flag of Ukraine.
In addition, Imagine Dragons became the ambassadors of the United24 campaign and helped raise money for medical assistance to victims of Russian aggression.
