51 State New California May Appear In USA

A group of activists announced the creation of the state of New California and proclaimed its declaration of independence from California.

The newly created “state” includes most of California, except for the coastal areas of the state, reports USA Today.

“California today is under the control of tyranny,” says the document published online.

“After years of excessive taxation, regulation and partisan politics, the state of California and many of its 58 counties have become ungovernable,” the group said in a statement, saying these problems have led to the decline of education, medicine and services.

The proclaimed independence group, made up of representatives from different constituencies and committees, hopes to gain independence and 51 status of the US state. They expect to convince the California legislature to approve the division of the state before the matter is submitted to Congress.

Even with the best of luck for the group, this idea will take a long time. The promotion of the idea in the California state legislature will begin towards the end of the year 2018 or the beginning of the year 2019.
