In North Carolina, a canopy collapsed at school, 25 people suffered

During a school music festival in the American city of Ayredod (North Carolina), a reinforced concrete shelter collapsed. 25 people suffered.
The incident occurred on Saturday, October 3, near 14: 15. According to CBS News, the structure collapsed after a truck crashed into one of its pillars. Under the shed at the time of the accident were the participants of the festival.
Law enforcement officers and ambulance crews arrived at the scene. The injured were taken to the hospital, one of them is in critical condition, the media report.
It is unclear how many students were seriously injured - the police said only that there are such people. Among the wounded, both children and adults - several parents were also sent to the clinic to assist.
The event was supposed to perform musical groups from thirty schools, but several groups refused to participate because of rainy weather. The festival has been canceled.
