San Diego found the longest drug trafficking tunnel from Mexico
On the border of the United States and Mexico in the area of the city of San Diego discovered a tunnel for the transport of drugs, said representatives of the American police.
An underground corridor, about 800 meters long, was used to transport cocaine and marijuana to the United States.
This is already the 13-th underground tunnel in California, discovered over the past 10 years.
During the last police raid in San Diego, more than 1 kilograms of cocaine and more than 6 kilograms of marijuana were discovered, which, presumably, entered American territory through this tunnel.
“This is the largest shipment of cocaine ever transported into the United States through this tunnel,” District Attorney Laura Duffy said.
Earlier, in March of this year, the US authorities managed to find a tunnel, 380 meters in length, built underground from a restaurant in Mexico to a residential building in California.
