In New Jersey, the family is accused of racism because of the decorations for Halloween

A family in New Jersey decorated a Halloween house with a mannequin hanging on the porch, which angered most of the neighbors who had already complained to the local authorities and the police.

Many people have taken such a decoration for racism, reports NBC.

The figure hanging on the porch depicts a man with a bag on his head and a rope around his neck; his shirt is spattered with fake blood, and his gloved hands are tied behind his back.

It was in this form that African-Americans were hanged during the Lynch ships in the United States.

The house, which was used by other Halloween decorations, including a coffin, tombstones, skeletons, and the silhouette of a witch, is located near Main Street in the village of Allowy, where Halloween celebrations are held this weekend.

The owner of the house said that he had not heard complaints about the dummy, and also stressed that he did not want to offend anyone.

The man admitted that he was a big fan of horror films, and that he took the idea for such decoration from the house of horrors in Creamy acreswhere a cowboy hangs on a water tower. He said that his family, which includes African-American children, likes this installation.

The man declared his readiness to remove the mannequin, if he is considered offensive. The district attorney of Salem, in which the village is located, said that the investigators had visited the man’s house to talk to him, but at that time no one was at home.
