School bus overturned in New Jersey, more than 30 people in hospital
A school bus transporting families returning to Newark, NJ from a picnic, had an accident and flipped over to New Jersey Turnpike.

There were 42 people on the bus - adults and children, reports NJ. com.
36 people (19 adults and 17 children) were sent to hospitals, according to police, their injuries are not life threatening.
The accident occurred near Mile Post 79,9 in East Braunschweig, in the afternoon of August 11. The bus left the fence separating the lanes for trucks and cars on the highway, and turned over.
The bus was used to transport people to an event not related to the school.
On board were families returning to Newark after a picnic at the Black Bear Lake Country Country Club in Millstone. An annual picnic is held for residents of the city by the mayor of Newark Ras Baraka. This was the fourth year of this event.
“There were a lot of kids crying, and basically everyone who got off the bus was bleeding,” said witness Josh Case.
He added that everything was rather confusing, but most of the bus passengers could move on their own. He helped several injured and left. At that time there was no police or ambulance on the spot, but on the way a man met a police car heading towards the accident.
Of the 17 patients taken to the Robert Wood Johnson hospital, five were discharged until Saturday evening, the rest of the 12 were in a stable condition.
The status of 19 patients sent to other hospitals is not reported.
An incident is being investigated.
