In California, a 15-year-old teen raped and killed a child

In the United States, in California, an 15-year-old boy was charged with the abduction, rape, and murder of an eight-year-old girl whose body was found in a dumpster.

Adrian Jerry Gonzalez allegedly lured Maddison Middleton to her apartment at the time when she was riding a scooter. A teenager is accused of having tied her up, raped her and then killed her.

The girl's body was found in a trash container on the evening of July 27. Investigators failed to establish a possible motive for the murder.

“Unfortunately, the search for Maddie ended in the worst possible way,” said District Attorney Jeffrey Rossel.

“People do things for many reasons, sometimes we can understand them, sometimes we can’t,” he added.

The teen will be judged for the alleged crime as an adult. If Gonzalez admitted guilt, he faces life imprisonment, the prosecutor said.

Rossel admitted that in all twenty years of his work, he had never seen a fifteen-year-old teenager accused of murder.
