At the airport in Florida a student pilot tried to hijack a plane

A student pilot climbed over the fence at Orlando (Florida) Airport around 2 at night around September 20 and sneaked aboard a passenger plane to hijack him.

22-year-old Nishala Sankat got on board of an American Airlines Airbus A200 321-local airliner, but inside he ran into two workers who were maintaining the liner, writes The New York Post.

They demanded an identity card from the guy, but he ignored their request and headed for the cockpit. But the workers did not lose their head, but grabbed the violator and took him out of the plane.

Sankat broke away and ran to the plane again, but other workers caught up with him on an electric car and handed them over to the police.

Florida authorities are investigating the incident.

Since there was a suspicion that this was an attempted terrorist attack, the FBI arrived at the scene.

Investigators searched the Sankat sedan using a robot, after which it was determined that the car was safe and was towed from the airport.

A man was charged with a criminal attempt to steal a plane, a criminal intrusion into an airliner, and a visa violation, but the details of this violation were not made public.

The police assumes that the man planned this crime in advance.

Sankat has a driver's license issued in the state of Florida, he came to the US from Canada and studied the management of aircraft at the Florida Institute of Technology.

After the incident, the airport was blocked for several hours, but returned to normal operation with 7: 00 20 September.
