'Putin cannot be trusted': Trump prepared a memo before traveling to Europe

The Heritage Foundation analytical center, which is said to be close to the US Administration, has prepared a special memo to President Donald Trump on America’s position regarding NATO, Ukraine and Russia, writes “Today«.

The memo addressed to Trump before his working visit to Europe, where he will take part in the NATO summit and hold a meeting with Russian President Putin, has been published by the analytical center on the official Twitter page.

The tweet that the organization tagged Trump said: “Here's what to remember before Donald Trump travels to Europe:

• Russia is the aggressor, and Ukraine is the victim.
• Crimea belongs to Ukraine.
• US and NATO troops in Europe serve the US national interests.
• Europeans should spend more on defense.
• Putin's actions indicate that he cannot be trusted."

As is known, the presidents of the USA and Russia Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin will meet July 16 in the capital of Finland, Helsinki. Trump said the presidents plan to discuss Ukraine, Syria and “many other topics” in their first separate meeting. At the meeting in Helsinki, the presidents of the United States and the Russian Federation - Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin - will hold one-on-one negotiations, in an expanded format and over a working lunch.

At the same time in the British government fear the meeting of Trump and Putin. According to the British, the result of the negotiations could be the refusal of the United States of NATO joint exercises in Norway this fall, the rejection of the decision to create an American base in Poland, as well as the recognition of the Russian occupation of the Crimea and a change in the sanctions regime.
