Expert: Russia is creating a rocket that will allow the United States and Europe to be covered with hyperzunami

On March 1, 2018, in a message to the Federal Assembly, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the country has developed unmanned underwater vehicles capable of moving at very great depths and at intercontinental ranges at speeds many times higher than the speed of submarines, the most modern torpedoes and all types of submarines, even the fastest. According to Putin, such drones can be equipped with both conventional and nuclear weapons, which will allow them to hit a wide range of targets, including aircraft carrier groups, coastal fortifications and infrastructure. This development was called “Poseidon”, but the latest weapons developments in Russia are classified as “top secret”, and therefore there is no specific information about them.

General Designer of the Russian torpedo weapon Academician Shamil Aliyev in an interview RIA News opened the veil of secrecy over the new development of Russian gunsmiths.

“As for drones and its various modifications, naturally, this is one of the most modern trends in technology in general and in the military especially. The “crazy” effect of drones, including those related to speed, is a complex scientific and technical program of many problems with changing target functions. Here we are talking not only about torpedoes and submarines, but about complexes in general and their maximum capabilities,” the scientist noted.

According to him, the main goal of underwater complexes is to achieve the highest indicators on all tactical and technical data of weapons.

He noted that now the development of science, like never before, affects the development of weapons.

“The classic stockpiles of weapons in the United States and other countries, the classic methods of accumulating them - this is an issue that no one has canceled. But science and technology are in unpredictable convergent (combined) states. On the one hand, there is a stock of weapons from different countries, which is enough to defend their sovereignty. On the other hand, there is a continuous development of scientific and technical thought, including in the field of on-board computer systems. This allows us to look at weapons from a fundamentally different point of view,” Aliyev emphasized.

The scientist said that this is not the fifth generation of weapons, but “the finale of the development of all classical generations”.

“The goal is this: to be able to do everything, everywhere and at any time,” he explained.

Aliyev said that the super-speed of the UAVs developed by Russia will be achieved through a nuclear power plant-engine.

The scientist added that in Russia now there is a tendency to “return to previously unrealized ideas.”

“Now Sakharov’s views on the production of torpedoes 24 meters long, 1,5 meters in diameter with a nuclear warhead, and a range of 50 kilometers are being reconsidered. Its task was to destroy objects on the coast using an explosion in the water. This idea was not implemented not because it didn’t work well, there was simply no money then,” he said.

Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Rocket and Artillery Sciences Konstantin Sivkov said that the development of Sakharov’s idea would create a torpedo that can be initiated by hyperzuns, writes Life.

“For an adequate US threat, you can use their main weakness - continental geo-vulnerability. The United States sits on a powder keg - they are cracked by the mid-American continental rift, and they also have supervolcano Yellowstone. When hit by hundreds of megatons on this volcano, the United States will cease to exist. You can also apply the method, as suggested by Academician Sakharov: these are explosions of super-large power at calculated points along the Atlantic Ocean at great depths near the American coast. These explosions will lead to the appearance of hyperzunami height 400 – 500, and maybe more meters. Naturally, everything will wash away at a distance of a thousand kilometers. US will be destroyed, ”- said the expert.

According to Sivkov, the same tsunami can, if necessary, cover the European coast. At the same time, such a torpedo, according to the scientist, is almost impossible to intercept.

“There is no missile defense system for such a torpedo, because it goes under water. She must be nuclear, this will allow her to go at a speed of 200 km / h. Its defeat by conventional means of anti-submarine warfare is impossible. It will also be difficult to ensure the defeat of the atomic torpedo, because the torpedo will maneuver, ”said Sivkov.

According to him, the same super-powerful charges can also protect the planet from meteorites.

“These munitions are important for the task of anti-meteorite protection. Ordinary bombs do not solve this problem - power is not enough, ”the expert concluded.
