US President Donald Trump has threatened to “completely close the southern border” of the country if Congress refuses to provide funding for the construction of a border wall between the US and Mexico.

In a series of tweets, the White House chief said closing the land border would be a “profitable proposition” because the US is losing “too much money on trade” with Mexico under the North American Free Trade Agreement, writes “New time".
