He also reported that on Monday he met with FBI Director Christopher Ray and Attorney General Jeff Sessions, discussing the course of a federal investigation into the events in Charlottesville.

“Anyone who breaks the law will be brought to justice,” said Donald Trump, recalling that as a result of the clashes in this city, “one person was killed and 20 were injured.”

“Racism is evil,” said the head of the White House. “Those who have committed violence in the name of this are criminals and murderers, including the Ku Klux Klan, neo-Nazis, white nationalists and members of other radical groups who undermine faith in everything we consider America’s foundation.”

Donald Trump said his administration "strongly condemns manifestations of fanaticism and hatred."

“No matter the color of our skin, we are created equal,” he said. “We must love each other... united in condemning hatred and violence.”

Donald Trump said that even during the election campaign, he had repeatedly promised to restore "the rule of law in the country." According to him, the investigation into the events in Virginia will be another confirmation that he is fulfilling his campaign promises. ”

“We will spare no resources to ensure that those responsible are punished,” Donald Trump said.
