Trump is flattered by Putin’s compliments

Contender to participate in the US presidential election from the Republican Party, Donald Trump complimented Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"He runs his country, and at least he's a real leader, not like we have now," Trump told CNN.

Responding to a question about the possible responsibility of the Russian president for the murders of journalists and opposition politicians, Trump said that the United States is also not perfect.

“Our country also kills a lot. There is a lot of stupidity all over the world right now. A lot of murders, a lot of nonsense,” said the billionaire.

Trump also thanked Putin for the compliment that the Russian president in absentia made to him after his December 17 press conference.

According to the billionaire, it is always nice when people appreciate your mind and especially nice when the leaders of states do it.

The press also drew attention to Putin’s praise for Trump.

Meanwhile, Republican Senator John McCain ridiculed Trump for positive assessments of him from Russian leader Vladimir Putin. “This is a match made in heaven. I absolutely can’t wait for it,” McCain said humorously in an interview on Fox Business Network.

He also criticized US President Barack Obama for his constant concessions to aggression from Putin. “I have never seen such pandering to Vladimir Putin in any president,” McCain added.

“He is a very bright person, talented, without any doubt,” the Russian president said, welcoming Trump’s desire to improve relations with Russia.

Trump is now considered a leader in the fight for the title of presidential candidate from the Republicans.
