On Wednesday evening, a strong storm hit the territory of San Francisco Bay (California), bringing with it gusty winds and a large amount of rain.

Rescue crews in San Francisco are busy cleaning storm drains and installing flood barriers in the lowland areas of the Mission District.
Motorists are advised to monitor possible flooding on the roads, especially those located near water bodies, and also to be attentive due to the possible collapse of stones and debris on the roads.
Dry weather is expected on Friday, but rainfall is projected to return on Saturday.
As of Thursday morning, it became known about the closure of at least two major highways due to rains and the flooding of several roads in the San Francisco Bay area, writes NBC.

A California road patrol reported closure due to flooding of Interstate Highway 580 east of MacArthur Maze in Auckland and Highway 4 east of Pine Street in Martinez.
Alameda Corridor is also closed in both directions due to flooding on the tracks.
San Francisco Subway Station 19th St Oakland closed due to flooding. Officials ask passengers to use other stations.

It is expected that the showers will stop by Friday morning, but the estimated time of road opening is not reported at the moment.
