Russians want to ban rest in Egypt and Turkey

A deputy from St. Petersburg Yevgeny Marchenko appealed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia with a request. He wants the Russians to be banned from relaxing in the resorts of Egypt, Turkey and Thailand. The deputy believes that in these countries in recent years it has become too dangerous for tourists from Russia. He also claims that abrupt climate change is very bad for health.

Marchenko suggested the Russians switch to the resorts of the Golden Ring, the Black Sea and Caspian coasts, the Altai, the Baikal.

The deputy understands that it is impossible by law to prohibit Russians from traveling to these countries. But he suggests introducing a visa regime with them, reducing the number of charter flights and increasing the cost of insurance many times over.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, on the contrary, urges Russians to visit Egypt at least once. He stated this in his interview for Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram.

“Russians have sincere respect for the Egyptian people, they are happy to travel to your country and are interested in its culture and history. In general, I believe that every person is obliged to visit Egypt at least once - the cradle of civilization, to see with its own eyes its ancient monuments, ”said Medvedev.
