Russian military pilot surrendered to Americans while on vacation in Dubai

A Russian pilot, a member of the Russian National Guard aviation squadron, Senior Lieutenant Gavrichenko (call sign “Le Havre”), during his vacation with his family in Dubai, came to the American Embassy in the UAE and stated that he refused to fight and expressed his readiness to cooperate, reports the Telegram channel “The Spy's Dossier".

Gavrichenko followed the example of the pilot of the 319th separate helicopter regiment (military unit 13984), Captain Maxim Kuzminov, who stole a Mi-8AMTSh helicopter and received a reward of $500, asylum and new documents for himself and his family, as well as the pilot 000- 15st Army Aviation Brigade (military unit 44440) Lieutenant Dmitry Mishov, who fled to Lithuania.

However, it is believed that the roots of “Le Havre’s” escape lie in his cadet past, or more precisely in his friend from the training bench - Lieutenant Anton Vasiliev (former last name - Lyakh).

Vasilyev (Lyakh) Anton - pilot of the 610th center for combat use and retraining of flight personnel (military unit 41520, Ivanovo). Left Russia after the start of the Northern Military District. Currently lives in Los Angeles, California, USA. He spends his free time by the pool, organizes training camps for the Ukrainian army and, probably, shares official information with Pentagon representatives.

Circumstances of Gavrichenko's escape

At the end of September, “Le Havre” had a vacation, which he, along with his family, decided to spend in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Having thoroughly enjoyed the desert nature, Gavrichenko decided to radically change his life. And instead of the airport, I chose the American embassy in the UAE as my final destination. Arriving there, he declared that he refused to fight and expressed his readiness to cooperate.

Gavrichenko’s action has already become known in his aviation squadron in the Russian National Guard. The FSB is currently conducting active investigations into the circumstances surrounding the pilot’s escape. Colleagues are being interrogated, personal belongings are being searched, mobile phones are being examined, etc.

The FSB believes that it was Anton Vasiliev (Lyakh) who convinced Gavrichenko of the need to escape.

One way or another, “Le Havre,” along with all the official information in his head, is now at the disposal of the United States. And there’s a swimming pool in the suburbs of Los Angeles not far away.
