During the trial, Chelyabinsk deputy Vyacheslav Otkin said he was dependent on his daughter, who lives in the US, writes TJournal.
The court considered the conflict of a deputy with a city woman. The woman asked the prosecutor to bring Otkin to justice for insulting her on a social network. The judge asked the deputy whether he had dependents. He replied that he himself was a dependent.

“We, most likely, are dependent on our daughter. She is American. Serves in the National Guard of the United States of America. Now he’s probably an “enemy of the people,” said deputy Vyacheslav Otkin.
