De Blasio's rating for six months increased by 14%
The approval rating of New York Mayor Bill De Blasio has increased compared to the September poll.
According to a new NY1 survey, 58% of New Yorkers approve of De Blasio's work. For comparison, in September last year only 44% supported it. The mayor of the city 22% of residents was unsatisfactory, which is 12% less compared to last year.
The approval rating of the mayor of New York was carried out against the background of increased attention to the increase in the number of homeless people in the city, De Blasio's series of defeats in the confrontation with Governor Cuomo and the burning issue of the company's legitimate activities commissioned by Uber taxi.
The results show that the De Blasio rating is starting to recover.
The survey showed that 71% of New Yorkers are satisfied with the activities of urban services. However, 46% said that city services are on the wrong track, while 39% are sure of the opposite.
De Blasio has a pronounced racial gap. So, among black voters, 71% approved of him, 12% disapproved. Among Hispanics, 61% approved, 19% disapproved. White voters were split 50% in favor and 34% against.
