Rating of the richest women in Russia: former and current wives of officials and businessmen are in the lead

Among the leaders of the rating “25 richest women in Russia-2016” from Forbes magazine - former wives of oligarchs Roman Abramovich and Dmitry Rybolovlev. In first place, by a large margin from her pursuers, is the wife of former Moscow mayor Yuri Luzhkov, president of Inteco Management Elena Baturina.

Forbes experts estimate the fortune of 53-year-old Baturina at $1,1 billion, which makes her the only dollar billionaire in the ranking, which is already the fourth in a row. At the same time, over the last year, the capital of Luzhkov’s wife increased “only” by $100 million.

At the beginning of 2016, according to the magazine, Baturina bought for $ 10 million complex of office buildings in the center of Brooklyn near the sports and entertainment complex Barclay's Center.

In the collection of Elena Baturina, who now lives in London, around 50 copies of classic cars, including Darracq Double-Phaeton 1907 of the year and Lagonda LG45 1936 of the year.
