Indianapolis Zoo Workers Catch Cheetah
On the territory of the zoo of the American city of Indianapolis on Sunday, an emergency was declared when it became known that the cheetah had disappeared from his aviary and began walking around in other areas of the zoo.
The territory of the zoo was cordoned off, and visitors had to seek refuge in the toilets.
“We found ourselves next to the cheetah, and the zoo staff rushed to us and told us that we needed to take shelter in the toilets,” RTV-6 TV channel quoted zoo visitor Angela Knight as saying.
According to her, twenty minutes later, the zoo staff allowed the hiding visitors to follow the main exit. Cheetah caught with a tranquilizer just near the toilet cubicles. Later, the administration of the zoo removed the cordon.
