A little dog named Sosh spent a week in a flooded house in North Carolina. After Hurricane Florence, the water reached almost to the ceiling, and Sosh survived only because in the room where he was locked there was a chair that did not sink. Miraculously surviving dog rescuers freed, filmed the entire operation on the video.

In the small town of Burglo (North Carolina) due to the hurricane Florence in mid-September began a heavy flood. Maltese lapdog named Sosh did not have time to get out of the house before the water flooded the entire building, writes Media leaks. The owners of the dogs did not suffer, but for several days they did not know what was happening with their pet. Fortunately, animal protection specialists from the Humanist Society of Missouri came to the rescue and came to the city to rescue animals stuck in their homes.

Rescuing Sosha engaged teammates Chad Guard and Jessica Crampton. They went to the desired area by boat every day, but could not find the right house: only the roofs were visible from under the water. Only a week later the water level dropped a little. But it was still not easy to get to the house where Sosh was waiting: on the way the boat caught on some obstacle and her engine broke down. Then I had to move with the help of oars. Finally, however, Chad and Jessica found the right house and heard the dog barking inside.

Rescuers managed to open the door, and they saw Soch, who was floating around the living room on a chair. The water level in the house was about two meters, but, fortunately, even at the peak of the flood under the ceiling there was free space where you could breathe. Jessica swam inside, took the dog from there, and all three of them returned to the boat.

Although Sosh spent a whole week in a closed, flooded area, he was in surprisingly good condition. Perhaps there was something edible in the living room, and so he was able to hold out for so long. Jessica and Chad wanted to give the dog to the owners, but they still did not return to the city after the evacuation, so their girlfriend came for Sosh. The rescuers shared a video in which almost the whole operation to save the dog was filmed, and Chad told how glad it was that everything worked out so well.

It was a good day. We had problems with the boat, and in general everything that could possibly go wrong. And yet in the end it was a fantastic day. We were all very cool.
