Russian President Vladimir Putin talks differently with American and Russian journalists.

This conclusion was made by journalists of the publication. with the BBCcomparing his answers to questions from Channel One and Fox News: although the questions were very similar, the answers were very different.

He shows open aggression in response to questions from American journalists.

When asked by Channel One about which head of the United States, Donald Trump is the negotiator, Putin replied that he was “a qualified person who understands the material.”

At the same time, he answered the similar question of an American journalist with a sharp attack: “Why did we speak like intelligent people with each other? Does it surprise you? ”

“He is an interesting conversationalist. Everyone considers him exclusively a businessman. I think this is not so,” Putin gently explained to Russian journalists.

But in a conversation with the American media, his voice sounds harsh, defiant, and even somewhat annoying: “Before Trump announced that he would be a presidential candidate; he was of no interest to us. ”

Speaking about interference in US elections, Putin calmly explains to Russian journalists that this topic was touched upon at a meeting with Trump, while simply calling the intervention “mythical,” but in response to a similar question from Fox News, he angrily says “this is ridiculous, you need to stop manipulating public opinion in the United States. ” He also told the American media that the press should apologize for these “manipulations.”

Putin calmly explained to the Russian journalist that during the negotiations “new ideas” had arisen to resolve the situation in Ukraine.

The answer to the same question was very different for an American journalist: “You asked me about the Crimea, about Ukraine. But it was not we who organized a military coup there.

Also different were the answers to questions about the relationship between Russia and the United States and to some other topics. Putin speaks with American journalists much more aggressively than with Russian ones, attacking rather than answering the question.
