Portugal won the first match in the main time at Euro-2016

Today, the first semi-final match of Euro-2016 took place, in which the teams of Portugal and Wales met.

The Portuguese lost their main defender Pepe due to injury, and the Welsh missed disqualified Aaron Ramsey and Ben Davis.

The teams understood that any mistake could cost them a place in the final, so no one wanted to risk revealing their backs. The first half of the game was not rich in dangerous moments. For the Welsh, you can remember Bale's inaccurate kick after a corner, and the Portuguese responded with a shot to the "milk" from Ronaldo in the last minutes.

The beginning of the second half was a real shock for Wales. Within three minutes, the Portuguese signed the Hennessy gate twice - first Ronaldo locked the canopy after the corner, and then he assisted Nani himself.

The Welsh rushed to recoup, but the Portuguese defense did not allow Bail and the company to create at least one real moment at their gates. The Portuguese switched to the counterattacking game and somewhat disturbed Hennessy.

It is noteworthy that Portugal, which reached the final, won only the first victory at Euro-2016 in regular time - all three matches in the group of the Portuguese made a draw, and in the playoffs their matches would definitely go into extra time.
