Police stopped a single mom in Washington and surprised her with a pleasant surprise.
Single mother Brittany Payne from Burmerton (Washington) was traveling with her 15-month-old son when a police officer stopped her.

Policeman Stephen Forbreggd said that he stopped a woman because there was no front license plate on her car, wrote Fox News.
“She started crying almost immediately, saying that she was a single mother and that she just didn’t have the tools to attach the license plate,” Forbragd said.
Near the car also stopped two other officers who helped Payne attach a license plate.
One of these officers, Johnny Rivera, spoke to a woman, and they found out that both had previously served in the US Navy. Payne was an assistant gunner, and Rivera served as an assistant driver.
Instead of writing Payne a fine for not having a license plate on her car, Rivera gave her a United Way voucher worth 25 dollars to buy her clothes for her son.

“I thought it would be another blow to me, but they definitely surprised me,” Payne said, adding that her interactions with police have not always been positive.
Payne shared a photo of the voucher on Facebook and thanked the police.
“I can say that in the past I have been extremely resentful of the US law enforcement and judicial system due to past life situations, but this has definitely restored my faith in those who serve there and protect our community. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for treating people this way. You all made my day!,” she wrote on Facebook.
