On the way to a Belarusian friend, a Lithuanian forgot about the border
25-year-old Lithuanian citizen illegally crossed the border to get to his Belarusian girlfriend. This is not the first meeting of the intruder with the border guards, and this time it could end in deportation with a ban on entry into Belarus for a period of 5 years.
The incident occurred on March 10. Border guards received a signal about a violation of the state border from Lithuania. 500 meters from this place, along a path of footprints, we managed to find the intruder - he turned out to be a 25-year-old resident of the Lithuanian city of Shalcininkai.
The guy was intoxicated. Sobering up, he was able to explain that he had broken the border for a meeting with his Belarusian girlfriend. Having 10 euros with me, I wanted to catch a car and come to her in Grodno.
In 2012, the same citizen was already brought to administrative responsibility for attempting to violate the state border. Now he faces deportation with a ban on entry into Belarus for several years.
