'Disgusting man': journalist from New York accused Trump of rape

Elle women's magazine columnist Jean Carroll claims that Trump invited her to the fashionable Bergdorf Goodman department store in New York, lured her into a fitting room and there, she claims, raped her. Her story was published on Friday by New York Magazine, reports Air force.

In his statement, Trump thanked the owners of the Bergdorf Goodman department store for "confirming that they do not have video footage of such an incident."

She claims to have met Trump in late 1995 or early 1996 at Bergdorf Goodman, an upscale department store in New York. She says that she recognized the construction magnate, and he recognized her as a “psychotherapist” journalist, a TV presenter of a useful advice column.

Then Trump told her that he was buying a gift for a girl, and they began to poke fun at each other, offering to try on underwear.

She claims that they went into the fitting room - and there Trump allegedly raped her.

Carroll said she told two friends about what happened. One of them advised her to contact the police, while the other, on the contrary, advised her to remain silent: “Forget about it! He has 200 lawyers. He will bury you."

In her article, Carroll details six times she was sexually assaulted by “horrible people.”

Carroll ends the article by claiming that Trump was her "last disgusting man" and that she hasn't had sex with anyone else since.
