Father brings his kids' drawings to life in Photoshop: it's weird and fun at the same time

It's no secret that children see the world in a special way, they have unlimited imagination. Very often we cannot understand what they have drawn. To make this easier, Father Tom Curtis is converting his children's drawings in Photoshop into what they would look like in real life.

He has two children - Dom and Al. He keeps all their drawings and gradually breathes life into them. And such creativity is liked not only by his children, but also by social network users who are crazy about new creatures.

He maintains his Instagram page called Things I Have Drawn. And although new work does not appear as often as some subscribers would like, Curtis definitely has something to surprise.

“I used to say that all animals are real. Legend has it that I spent many years finding and photographing them. True, everyone quickly got tired of the joke, "says Tom, writes Say hi.

Curtis says that he spends about 10 hours on each drawing. The more detailed the drawing, the longer it will take: it takes forever to draw the texture of the lizards. When he first became popular, he received more than 50 requests a week from parents - all of them wanted to turn children's drawings into fun projects. Now the excitement has subsided a little: Tom has only 2-3 orders a day.

Over time, Curtis had one problem - the children got older and their drawings were no longer as childish and naive as they had been a few years ago.

“Now these are sophisticated works. But fortunately, I still have quite a lot of old things,” he notes.

Curtis now has almost 850 thousand subscribers and the number is only growing.
