New York lawyer became the first Russian-speaking judge in the Zionist Court of America

The first Russian-speaking judge in the Zionist Court of America received support from Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman.

According to Runyweb, New York lawyer Marlene Kruzhkov became the first Russian-speaking judge in a special court of the American Zionist movement. He was elected by the Assembly of the American Zionist Movement, his candidacy was presented by the organization American Forum for Israelrepresenting the Russian-speaking Jews of America.

This week, Marlene Kruzhkov visited Israel to attend a prestigious legal conference organized by the Israeli government and the Israeli Bar Association. As part of this event, leading Jewish lawyers from around the world are discussing how to more effectively legally combat anti-Semitism and the delegation of Israel.

Yesterday, lawyer Kruzhkov met with the Minister of Defense of Israel and the head of the party “Our Home is Israel” Avigdor Lieberman.

“It is touching to see how Russian-speaking Jews continue to punch through the glass ceiling, not only in Israel, where it was even more penetrated, but also in the US Jewish community! This trend is bound to continue, as no one better than Russian-speaking Jews does not understand the needs and interests of Israel in the international arena, ”Lieberman said.

Marlene Kruzhkov, said that the election to the court of the SDA is not only a great honor for him, but also a huge responsibility. The lawyer promised to help "the American Zionist Movement, which is one of the leading American pro-Israeli organizations, to integrate Russian-speaking Jews into influential positions in the Jewish community of the United States."
