The baby suffocated in the hospital bed, the mother sues the nurse

In Oregon, woman Monica Thompson sues nurse and hospital Portland adventure for negligence. Her newborn son Jacob suffocated in the hospital bed.
According to Thomposon, 6 August 2012, a nurse brought her baby to feed, and then left him in bed next to her mother. Thompson was after a complicated cesarean section. After feeding, she was given painkillers and sleeping pills.
An hour later, Thomposon woke up and noticed that her son was not responding to stimuli; she called the nurse. But none of the nurses on duty came to the ward. When they finally came to the child, he was no longer breathing. Jacob was 10 days.
Thomposon seeks compensation in the amount of $ 8 million.
