The Russian Ministry of Defense accused the United States of patronizing the Islamic State

The Russian Ministry of Defense believes that the United States’s distrust of the pictures of the Russian military department, allegedly proving that the Islamic State (ISIL) terrorists smuggled in oil to Turkey, testifies to Washington’s patronage of the terrorists.

This was stated by the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, Major General Igor Konashenkov, reports information agency TASS.

This statement was a reaction of the Russian Defense Ministry to the words of the representative of the US State Department that the photos of the Russian Defense Ministry, which allegedly show hundreds of trucks with ISIS oil, are genuine, but the State Department representative said that he did not see the images on which these tanks intersect the border of Turkey.

“Finally, our colleagues from the State Department and the Pentagon confirmed that the photographic evidence we presented at the briefing - where and where the thieves’ oil flows from areas controlled by international terrorism - is genuine. However, their statements that they do not see border crossings with tank trucks that cross the border cause a smile, if only because the photo is a static image,” Konashenkov noted in this regard.

In his opinion, such statements by the United States are evidence of the protection of ISIL.

“When American officials say that they do not see how smuggled terrorist oil is delivered to Turkey, this is no longer deceit, it smacks of direct patronage,” Konashenkov noted.

The Russian Defense Ministry called on American colleagues to use drones to make sure that terrorists smuggled oil into Turkey.

“We advise our American colleagues to watch the video from their drones, which, by the way, over the Syrian-Turkish border and oil-bearing areas controlled by terrorists have recently become three times more numerous. Please note, these drones are not some kind of plywood hang gliders, these are modern fiber-optic reconnaissance systems that allow you to record not just a tanker truck, but even the number of a machine lying on the seat next to the driver driving a “filler” across the Turkish border,” I’m sure Russian official.

Konashenkov also noted that the Russian Defense Ministry is aware of the use of the military base in Turkey by the American troops, which, in his opinion, can also be used to track the movement of ISIL’s terrorist smuggling.
